Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD) is not to be diagnosed in children. The signs and symptoms are seen in childhood, but the clinical diagnosis is not given until 18 years old. Conduct Disorder is a precursor to APD being that in order to be diagnosed with APD, there must have been symptoms before the age of 15.
